Hacienda Chuntuac
Nos casaremos en Hacienda Chuntuac, una hacienda del siglo XVII restaurada, dentro de la Reserva Ecológica Cuxtal, a ~35 min al sur del Centro de Mérida. Es un espacio privado y al aire libre, rodeado de naturaleza, con lugar de sobra para nuestros ~50 invitados.
Cómo Llegar
La hacienda está a ~35 min al sur del Centro de Mérida, dentro de la Reserva Ecológica Cuxtal. Ofreceremos transporte redondo el día de la boda, así que no necesitas preocuparte por manejar ni por estacionamiento. Encontrarás todos los detalles en nuestra página Cómo Llegar.
Bueno Saber
Clima
A finales de enero los días son cálidos y las noches frescas. Vale la pena traer una chamarra ligera o un suéter para la parte de la noche.
Repelente
Al estar rodeados de naturaleza, un poco de repelente ayuda, sobre todo al caer la tarde.
Baños
La hacienda cuenta con baños cómodos y modernos dentro de las instalaciones.
Accesibilidad
Hay algunos escalones y superficies irregulares. Si tú o algún acompañante necesita apoyo para moverse, avísanos y con gusto lo tomamos en cuenta.
Privacidad
Chuntuac celebra un solo evento por día, así que tendremos la hacienda entera para nosotros.
Jardines y Sombra
Chuntuac tiene varios jardines y terrazas conectados entre sí, y durante la fiesta iremos pasando de uno a otro.
La hacienda está llena de vegetación: palmas reales, un enorme árbol de mango, un tamarindo centenario y plantas nativas por todos lados, además de muchos pájaros de la zona.
Todo eso significa sombra abundante: muchas zonas cubiertas por los árboles y una terraza techada con ventiladores. Si en algún momento el sol se siente fuerte, siempre habrá un lugar fresco cerca.
Calzado Cómodo
Como el terreno incluye pasto, piedra y algunos escalones, te recomendamos calzado cómodo con el que puedas caminar tranquilamente:
- Para ellas, un tacón grueso o de cuña se maneja mucho mejor que uno delgado, que puede hundirse en el pasto.
- Para ellos, un zapato cerrado y cómodo es lo ideal.
Hacienda Chuntuac
We're getting married at Hacienda Chuntuac, a restored 17th-century hacienda inside the Reserva Ecológica Cuxtal, ~35 min south of downtown Mérida. It's a private, open-air setting surrounded by nature, with plenty of room for our ~50 guests.
Getting There
The hacienda is ~35 min south of downtown Mérida, inside the Reserva Ecológica Cuxtal. We'll be offering round-trip transport on the wedding day, so there's no need to worry about driving or parking. You'll find all the details on our Getting Here page.
Good to Know
Weather
In late January the days are warm and the evenings cool. It's worth bringing a light jacket or sweater for the later part of the night.
Repellent
Being surrounded by nature, a little insect repellent helps, especially as the afternoon turns to evening.
Restrooms
The hacienda has comfortable, modern restrooms on site.
Accessibility
There are a few steps and some uneven ground. If you or someone with you needs help getting around, let us know and we'll gladly plan for it.
Privacy
Chuntuac hosts a single event per day, so we'll have the whole hacienda to ourselves.
Gardens and Shade
Chuntuac has several gardens and terraces connected to one another, and we'll move between them during the party.
The hacienda is full of greenery: royal palms, an enormous mango tree, a centuries-old tamarind and native plants everywhere, along with plenty of local birds.
All of which means plenty of shade: many areas covered by the trees, and a roofed terrace with ceiling fans. If the sun ever feels strong, there's always somewhere cool nearby.
Comfortable Shoes
Since the ground includes grass, stone and a few steps, we recommend comfortable shoes you can walk in easily:
- For her, a block or wedge heel handles it far better than a thin one, which can sink into the grass.
- For him, a closed, comfortable shoe is ideal.
